The Bish SuperCrop Header Is Built for Versatility

Bish Enterprises has announced pre-orders for the SuperCrop Header, built for sorghum, sunflowers, popcorn, dryland corn, and industrial hemp. The header is designed for versatility, reducing the need for frequent changeovers.

“We designed the SuperCrop Header using common, off-the-shelf parts because we understand that equipment downtime is costly,” said Andrew Bish, CEO of Bish Enterprises. “By making repairs easier, whether farmers fix it themselves or work through local dealers, we help keep farmers moving and losses to a minimum. We’re especially proud of the hydraulic row-unit angle adjustment — no other header offers this. It’s a game-changer for tough harvests, especially when conditions vary within the field.”

Addressing Each Crop

The SuperCrop Header is designed to meet the individual challenges presented by each crop.

The header can handle downed sorghum plants without the need for extra attachments. Responsive height control keeps the ground speed steady in tough conditions. The row-divider covers reduce header buildup and increase grain collected, while snoots run close to the ground, leaving about 14 inches of stalk stubble for forage.

The header is also designed to minimize shatter on sunflowers, even on green plants. The auger provides consistent feeding, and adjustable row-unit angles, cutting through dry, broken stalks and uneven terrain. An optional brush system is available to further reduce losses.

For popcorn and dryland corn, the SuperCrop Header has adjustable deck plates to cleanly cut smaller ears and thinner stalks to lower losses found when using traditional corn heads. The header supports cellulose reclamation, with easily replaceable sickle sections.

Wrapping challenges for industrial hemp are handled by Bish eliminating the overhead reel. The header works with narrow rows as tight as three inches, or up to 40 inches wide. An optional backscreen is available to help seed growers reduce shatter losses.

Hydraulic Angle Adjustment

The SuperCrop Header has hydraulic row-unit angle adjustment to fine-tune cutting angles on the movie. This is designed to help improve feeding, reduce losses in uneven terrain, and minimize wear.

Availability

The SuperCrop Header is available in multiple configurations:

  • 6 row, 30-inch spacing
  • 8 row, 30-inch spacing
  • 6 row, 36-inch spacing
  • 8 row, 38-inch spacing
  • 12 row, 30-inch spacing
  • 16 row, 20-inch spacing
  • 12 row, 36-inch spacing with dual sickle drive

The SuperCrop Header is available for pre-order now, with deliveries ahead of the 2025 harvest. For more information, visit bishenterprise.com/supercrop-header.
