The 2026 Claas Lexion 8000 Series Is Getting a Refresh With Higher Horsepower and Premium Cab Features

Claas has updated the Lexion 8000 combine lineup with a new model, bump in horsepower, more comfort features, and better visibility.

“Just like the producers we serve, we’re focused on continuous improvement,” said Dennis Ogle, head of sales at Claas. “Today’s operator deserves equipment that not only matches the demands of the field, but also offers greater comfort for long hours in the seat.”

Higher Horsepower

Claas is reshuffling its Lexion line for model year 2026. The 2026 Lexion 8500, available in wheeled and Terra Trac models, rated at the same 506 hp as last year’s Lexion 8600. The 2026 Lexion 8600 receives a bump of 50 hp, bringing it to 556 hp — making it a Class 9 combine. The Lexion 8700 also gets a slight bump of 20 hp, coming in at 602 hp. All combines in the 2026 Lexion lineup will run on MAN engines, including the 7000 series.

A larger 510 bushel grain tank is available on all 8000 series models.

Cab and Comfort Features

The interior of the 2026 Claas Lexion 8000 series models is completely redesigned with more storage, better lighting, and additional premium features.

Claas

Claas has added a number of new cab features to the Lexion combines, bringing the cab in line with the recently announced Claas Jaguar forage harvesters.

“Anything we do to the cab, whether it be externally for lighting, internally for comfort, is always done with the customer in mind for those longer hours,” said Jeff Gray, product supervisor for Claas. “Customers buying Lexion combines often go from two combines to one. They will be expecting the combine to be more productive and work longer days, so we have to keep them comfortable.”

The redesigned cab is designed to be quiet and roomy with over a dozen new spaces to store electronics, food, drinks, tools, or whatever gear you may need for a long day in the cab. The cab also features new fabric on the roof and rear wall, as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and armrest.

A premium cab package is available with a heated and cooled swiveling leather seat, side window shades, and a radio system featuring Apple Car Play and Android Auto phone connectivity features.

A new LED lighting package is available for improved visibility around the machine.
