Just before 10:30 a.m. CT, December corn was up 1¾¢ at $3.96¼ per bushel.

November soybeans were up 6½¢ at $10.39¼ per bushel.

“Soybeans are building on [Tuesday’s] string trade while corn is attempting a recovery and wheat is mixed.” Karl Setzer, partner with Consus Ag Consulting, said, “The unexpected cut to U.S. soybean stocks to use provided the complex with the majority of support [Tuesday] as new crop inventory will need to be rationed. Any downward revision to production now will be too much.”
