For more than 30 years, Kawasaki side-by-sides have been useful for work and recreation. In that tradition, the company has released new models in its Mule and Mule PRO-FXT lines.

Mule 4000 Trans and 4010 Trans 4X4

The Trans Cab system allows these machines to quickly convert from a two-row, four-seat vehicle to a one-row cargo hauler, without the need for tools. A variety of accessories include a hard cab, soft cab, winches, windshields, and skid plates to customize the machines for many uses.

The 4000 and 4010 models start at $11,449.

Mule SX

Available in four configurations, starting with the standard two-wheel-drive model up to the fuel-injected Mule 4×4 XC LE model, the SX line fits into the bed of a full-size pickup truck for easy transport. Four-wheel-drive models in the series are available with digital fuel injection.

SX models start at $8,749.

Mule PRO-FXT 1000

Kawasaki unveiled several versions of the Mule PRO-FXT 1000, as well. The Platinum Ranch edition includes standard LED headlights, a self-leveling rear suspension, rear bumper, a WARN VRX 45 winch, and the Trans Cab system. The LE Ranch edition features cast aluminum wheels, self-leveling suspension, and a WARN VRX 45 winch. Pricing for the Platinum Ranch model starts at $22,499 and the LE Ranch starts at $20,999.

The PRO-FXT 1000 LE and LE Camo versions include the three- to six-passenger Trans Cab system. When in three-passenger mode, the cargo bed measures 42.7 x 53.6 x 10.9 inches and supports up to 1,000 pounds. In six-passenger mode, the bed measures 22.0 x 53.6 x 10.9 inches with a capacity of 350 pounds. PRO-FXT 1000 LE models start at $18,999.

The PRO-FX 1000 HD features three seats and a cargo bed measuring 54.1 x 53.3 x 11 inches, supporting up to 1,000 pounds. The vehicle is equipped with a rear bumper, self-leveling suspension, and a tilting cargo bed with hydraulic lift.

Pricing starts at $17,699.

Mule PRO-FXR 1000 and PRO-FXR 1000 LE

Designed for trail riding, the PRO-FXR 1000 has a 999 cc engine and three-passenger seating. It has a cargo bed measuring 37.5 x 53.3 x 11.0 inches and can hold 1,000 pounds of cargo. The PRO-FXR 1000 LE includes a painted grille cover and black cast aluminum wheels.

Models start at $15,999.

Available Accessories

Kawasaki offers more than 90 accessories to choose from, including new options like front and rear A-Arm guards, heater, WARN winch kits, a bed lift kit, LED headlights, and windshield washer and wiper harness.

Returning options include a universal ignition switch, headlight and tail-light guards, KQR cargo box, audio system, and plow mount. Package options are available for specific needs, which include multiple accessories.

All of the new Mule side-by-sides are backed by the Kawasaki Strong three-year limited warranty and are available now from Kawasaki dealers.
