GSI is releasing three new grain system products including a chain conveyor, air system, and QuickBolt stairs.

GSI’s VersaLoop chain conveyor system is now offered with 14-inch diameter tubes that can process up to 15,000 bushels per hour. The VersaLoop uses a chain and paddle design to quickly and quietly. The conveyor can run up to 325 feet in length, and inclines up to 60°.

The VersaLoop has a direct-drive configuration for reduced maintenance compared to a traditional belt, and the drive end is located at ground level for easier access.

The VersaLoop is also available in 8-, 10-, and 12-inch tube diameters.

Air Systems

GSI Air Systems.

The new GSI Air Systems pneumatic conveying is now offered with variable speed control to save energy, reduce grain damage, and cut blower noise down.

“These systems are built tough with cast-iron rotary air locks, positive displacement blowers and thermally protected motors, but they operate gently by using pneumatic conveying to transport grain with a cushion of air,” said Alan Lockwood, product manager for GSI.

GSI Air Systems has a rotary air lock that locks pressurized air in the system for accurate grain feeding. An automatic control center with start and stop buttons for the rotary air lock and blower unit. An in-line air valve is available as an option, allowing a single tube to run to a series of bins, with farmers able to switch bin output on the fly, without shutting down the system.

Air Systems is also available in 4-, and 6-inch tube diameters.

QuickBolt Tower Stairs

Stairs are now available as an option on GSI’s QuickBolt Tower system. The stairs feature nonslip steps and handrails for safety. They are designed to save time and money with fewer components, and arrive with factory preassembled landings and stringers.

The stairs are available in switchback and wraparound configurations.
