TikTok Turns Bull Nose Rings into 2025 Fashion Trend

If you’ve been scrolling TikTok lately, you may have noticed something strange trending. Brass bull rings — yes, the ones meant for actual bulls — are flying off the shelves.

But it’s not a surge in livestock management. It’s a new fashion movement, marked with #bullring. And it has farmers and ranchers everywhere either laughing, groaning, or double-checking their supply orders.

Creators such as jade_pebworth have posted videos showing how to turn a 3-inch brass bull ring into a stamped, polished bangle bracelet. The result? A rustic piece of jewelry, that’s meant to turn heads (cattle, that is).

@jade_pebworth Part 1: what you need to make a bull ring bracelet like mine! Supplies, where I purchased, and my thoughts! I forgot to show a sharpie, rubbing alcohol, and a cotton swab or cotton ball! Part 2 is posted! Check it out for my tips and tricks to make your own bull ring bracelet! #bullringbracelet #tractorsupply #bullringbracelettutorial #bullringbraceletsupplies #brassbullring ♬ original sound – Jade

Within days, the hashtags were trending. Suddenly, thousands of non-farm folks were proudly showing off the very same hardware that’s been hanging from the noses of bulls for generations.

One commenter summed it up perfectly writing, “City girls are out here wearing what my grandpa used to pierce his Charolais bull with.”

The ag community, never one to miss a good laugh, quickly weighed in. Some with annoyance, others with amusement.

My thoughts on the whole bull nose ring bracelet trend…

Bull rings, such as Tractor Supply’s Producer’s Pride 3-in. Brass Bull Ring, are designed to restrain or help control unruly cattle.

@trinityvalleydairy Curious about why our bull wears a nose ring and chain? It’s all about safety, for him, for us, and for the rest of the herd. Bulls are powerful animals, and while ours is part of the team, his strength demands extra precautions. The ring gives us a way to gently guide and control him when needed, reducing risk without harming the animal. He’s also a key part of herd genetics. By keeping a healthy, well-managed bull on pasture, we can raise strong, well-adapted calves right here at home. A sustainable, time-tested approach to dairy farming. This is what responsible animal care looks like: clear skies, green grass, and serious respect for the animals that make it all possible. #FingerLakesDairy #TrinityValleyDairy #FarmEducation #NYDairyFarm #CortlandNY ♬ original sound – Trinity Valley Dairy

At about $9.99, it’s cheaper than most bangles and arguably tougher. Meanwhile, Harbor Freight reports a spike in metal stamping kits, and jewelers everywhere are fielding questions like, “Can you engrave my bull ring bracelet?”

For the record, the official product listing still says, “For veterinary use only. Consult your veterinarian about appropriate equipment use.”

Making people mad by wearing the viral bull nose ring bracelet 🐂 Seriously, though. Y’all gotta calm down. The trend is not that serious 😂

But that hasn’t stopped crafters from polishing, engraving, and clear-coating these farmyard fixtures. The result is a trend that sits somewhere between ag-authentic maybe a little unhinged.

Whether you find it hilarious or horrifying, you have to admit — it’s peak 2025 (or maybe recession) energy. Still, maybe it’s not so bad. Farm folks and fashion influencers finally have something in common: an appreciation for durability, shine, and brass.
