Reinke Unveils ReinCloud 3

Reinke Manufacturing has launched its latest irrigation data platform, ReinCloud 3. The upgraded version is designed to centralize farm data insights and provide advanced irrigation management solutions for growers to help overcome evolving water management challenges.

Since its launch in 2016, ReinCloud has allowed farmers to manage irrigation systems remotely. With the release of ReinCloud 3, Reinke has enhanced the platform to address the evolving challenges growers face in optimizing water use and improving crop yields.

“It’s a completely redesigned webpage, which allows growers to customize the dashboard so they are monitoring what’s important to them,” said Chris Roth, president of Reinke Manufacturing. “Some farmers are more interested in flow and others may want to monitor water applied. They put their widgets on and they can control it.”

ReinCloud 3 Updates

Farming practices continue to change, and more growers are embracing technological advancements to increase efficiency and protect yields, explained Roth. “Farmers cannot be everywhere at once, but with ReinCloud 3, they can make precision irrigation decisions from anywhere, ensuring real-time farming capabilities.”

ReinCloud 3 introduces several key features:

  • Enhanced Telemetry: Improved data accuracy and reliable connectivity for real-time field monitoring.
  • Intuitive User Experience: A redesigned interface for quick access to critical insights.
  • Comprehensive Management: Centralized control of irrigation systems via an easy-to-use application.
  • Advanced Programming: Precision field-sector, end gun, and auxiliary programming for greater control.
  • Smart Irrigation Dashboard: A real-time system status overview with optional notifications.
  • Advanced Mapping and Customization: Weather, soil, yield, and chemigation maps, as well as customizable control settings.
  • Dealer Support Portal: Integrated dealer access for enhanced customer service and troubleshooting.

ReinCloud 3 is backward-compatible, allowing current users to upgrade without the need for additional capital investment. Existing ReinCloud users can transition to the latest version through a simple process facilitated by their dealer. “Any devices that are out there that are currently running on the current version of Raincloud, those will work on Raincloud 3, ” Roth said. “So you do not have to have a new device in order to make it work.”

Integration With Reinke RC3 and CropX

ReinCloud 3 is fully integrated with Reinke’s latest hardware, RC3, which enables seamless remote access, monitoring, and control of in-field equipment. “The new RC3 hardware brings enhanced security, faster data transmission speeds, and improved connectivity options, including Bluetooth and Wi-Fi,” said Cody Bailey, director of product management. “This means growers can have near-instantaneous irrigation adjustments, leading to more efficient water use and crop health management.”

By integrating with technologies such as CropX soil moisture probes and evapotranspiration monitoring, farmers can gain field-specific insights to help determine optimal irrigation schedules and nutrient applications.

“What we’re seeing in agriculture is an increasing need for data visualization and real-time decision-making,” said Bailey. “ReinCloud 3 allows growers to overlay mapping data with irrigation insights, helping them fine-tune their water management strategies for better efficiency and yield outcomes.”

Looking Ahead

Reinke plans to expand the ReinCloud platform further. The company’s upcoming E3 precision series of center pivot systems with uniform coupler spacing promises to further integrate with ReinCloud 3, providing growers with a complete suite of tools for precision irrigation.

With water efficiency becoming increasingly important, ReinCloud 3 provides farmers with tools to better manage irrigation and resources. As Bailey noted, “We want growers to feel like we’re their back-of-house IT support, helping them succeed season after season.”
