Polaris has announced its 2026 off-road vehicle lineup with new models across the Ranger, RZR, Xpedition, General, and Sportsman lines, and the introduction of the Polaris Ranger 500 UTV.

Ranger UTV

Polaris

The Polaris Ranger 500 is the company’s newest mid-size UTV offering, built for easy, everyday use. This model has a towing capacity of 1,500 pounds, and dump box capacity of 300 pounds. This is lower than the XP 1000 models, which boasts a 2,500-pound towing capacity and 1,000-pound box capacity, but is offered at a lower price for a more affordable solution, starting at $9,999.

Instead, the Ranger 500 is launching as a light-weight, maneuverable option for getting around the property. This model is a little light on features compared to the rest of the Ranger lineup — only offered as an open station version, with a two-person seating capacity. This UTV has a 567 cc engine for 28 hp under the hood, and a narrow width, coming in at just under 5 feet. A “Turf Mode” unlocks the rear differential for tighter turns that won’t tear up the grass.

For 2026, the Ranger XP 1000 models come installed with 29-inch Pro-Armor X-Terrain tires, with a tread pattern designed to reduce noise in the cab.

The 2026 Ranger lineup includes new, updated and returning models:

  • Ranger 500
  • Ranger SP 570: SP 570, SP 570 Premium, and SP 570 NorthStar
  • Ranger 1000: 1000, 1000 EPS, and 1000 Premium
  • Ranger XP 1000: XP 1000, XP 1000 NorthStar Premium, and Ultimate
  • Ranger XP 1000 Special Editions: NorthStar Trail Boss, Crew Texas, and Crew NorthStar Texas

This line starts at $9,999 and will begin shipping to dealers in August. For more information on the Ranger lineup, visit polaris.com.

Sportsman ATV

The 2026 Sportsman lineup includes the Sportsman 570 40th Anniversary Edition. This model features premium paint, exclusive badging, and 1990s-inspired graphics.

New heated seats are available as an option on the 2026 Sportsman 450 and 570 models. New fender flares are available as an accessory for the 450, 570, and Touring 570 models. The 570 EPS and Premium models also come with a factory-installed 3,500 pound winch. The 570 EPS model also includes new LED highlights.

The 2026 Polaris Sportsman lineup includes:

  • Sportsman 450 – 450 H.O. and 450 H.O. EPS
  • Sportsman 570 – 570, 570 EPS, 570 Premium 40th Anniversary Edition, 570 Trail
  • Sportsman 850 – 850 Premium and 850 Trail
  • Touring – Touring 570 Premium and Touring 570 Ultimate
  • Mud Edition – 850 and XP 1000
  • Scrambler XP 1000 S

The 2026 Sportsman ATV lineup starts at $6,999 and will begin shipping to dealers in August and September. For additional pricing on the Sportsman model lineup, visit polaris.com.

General UTV

The General 1000 Premium trim is offered in Zenith Blue, and adds key upgrades, including FOX 2.0 Podium QS3 shocks, LED headlights, 14-inch wheels, and 27-inch Maxxis Coronado tires to help deliver an enhanced performance.

The General XP models are available in Sport, Premium, and Ultimate trims, each with two- and four-passenger configurations.

The Premium trim includes a padded center console, convex rear-view mirror, and a Rockford Fosgate Stage 1 audio system. The Ultimate trim includes all Premium features and adds Polaris Ride Command technology on a 7-inch display, and an upgraded Rockford Fosgate Stage 3 audio system. Both the Premium and Ultimate trims are available in Super Graphite and Earth Blue.

The Xpedition XP features an open rear cargo box with dumping capability and a 60/40 split flip-up rear seat on the five-passenger model. The ADV, designed for more extensive gear hauling, has an enclosed pass-through cargo space that’s 5 inches longer than the XP model, a locking tailgate, and a flip-up and fold-flat rear seat configuration on the five-passenger model.

Both ADV and XP models now come standard with Ride Command+, which includes three years of ] access to the subscription-based connected technology, and 30-inch Pro Armor Trekker tires, engineered for premier trail performance and a quieter ride. The 2026 models also feature improved heater performance.
