Every February, National FFA Week offers a chance for students, schools, and communities to rally behind agricultural education and celebrate the future of farming and leadership. In 2025, FFA chapters across the country marked the annual event with service projects, spirited dress-up days, school assemblies, and community outreach — all centered on the lasting impact of the National FFA Organization.

According to a 2025 survey, 93 percent of FFA advisors reported participating in the celebration. Activities varied widely — from hosting teacher appreciation lunches to organizing public service campaigns. Seventy-seven percent of advisors used FFA toolkits and downloadable resources to plan their events, including themed dress-up days like “Farmer’s Day Off” and “Blue and Gold Day,” community meals, and educational events.

“From service projects to local outreach events, our members went above and beyond to share the spirit of FFA with those around us,” said one Georgia FFA advisor. “The energy, dedication, and leadership they demonstrated made this one of the best FFA Weeks I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing. Seeing our students connect with the community and showcase the impact of agricultural education was nothing short of inspiring.”

The week also included Give FFA Day, a national fundraising event that raised more than $1.67 million — a record-breaking total. Over 135 iconic blue corduroy jackets were donated, and nearly $11,000 was contributed to help members with travel expenses for FFA events.

Another key feature of National FFA Week is the participation of the National FFA Officers, who travel to schools to give speeches, lead workshops, and inspire members. In 2025, national officers visited 106 schools across six states, and their presence was noted to have an impact on both FFA members and non-members alike.

Whether through community service, spirited activities, or heartfelt gestures of appreciation, 2025 National FFA Week underscored what FFA stands for: leadership, learning, and lasting impact. To learn more about National FFA Week and how to get involved, visit FFA.org.

FFA, is an intracurricular organization that helps students explore career paths in agriculture, leadership, and science. Though the name honors its roots, today’s FFA includes future veterinarians, agriscientists, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and business professionals. The organization uses real-world experiences and hands-on learning to help students discover their potential.

National FFA Week dates back to 1948, when the National FFA Board selected the week of George Washington’s birthday to honor his agricultural legacy. It has since become an annual tradition, with schools customizing the celebration to reflect their chapters’ unique cultures.
