AGDAILY joined roughly 300,000 other attendees last week at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville. The event was particularly special because it was celebrating its 60th year.

At the Kentucky Exposition Center, the facility’s 1.2 million square feet were jam packed for four days with exhibitors showcasing some of the newest tech in production agriculture. This event also featured seminars, high-ranking ag officials, and sold-out Championship Tractor Pull crowds.

You can see our coverage of new machinery here.

“The National Farm Machinery Show is where the agriculture industry comes together to see what’s next and celebrate how far we’ve come,” said David S. Beck, President and CEO of Kentucky Venues. “From 86 exhibitors in 1966 to the largest indoor farm show in the world, this event continues to evolve alongside the farmers and families it serves. That spirit of continual innovation is what drives us, and it’s what will carry this show forward for generations to come.”

Visitors came from as far away as Australia and the Netherlands. Among the attendees were U.S. Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Judge Stephen Vaden and Tennessee Agriculture Commissioner Andy Holt. Both joined Kentucky Venues and Kentucky Department of Agriculture officials in touring the show floor and experiencing the adrenaline of the Championship Tractor Pull.
