Kubota has revealed its newest track loader: the SVL97-3. This model brings refined and upgraded performance, comfort and serviceability features.
“The SVL97-3 is a more refined construction machine, pure and simple. It excels at moving dirt and utilizing a wide range of high flow attachments to get work done quickly,” said Jerry Corder, Kubota product manager. “The further development of the SVL97-3 includes many of the engineering updates of the SVL75-3 launched in 2023, and overall, we have received overwhelmingly positive feedback. For example, the swing-out radiator in the engine compartment is a small thing that will pay big dividends on the service and maintenance side for our customers.”
Performance Features
The new track loader is equipped with a 96.4 hp Kubota engine, with an increased 8.4 mph top speed. The SVL97-3 has a common rail system for attachments, and a rated 3,459 pound operating capacity at 35% tipping load. This is a 250 pound increase over the SVL97-2 model. An optional 300 pound counterweight can be added for a further 200 pounds of operating capacity.
The SVL97-3 is designed to be more responsive than previous models. The loader arms are quicker, and an auto-downshift system brings the loader from high-range to low-range when the machine turns or goes into a pile of material. This allows the operator to keep the machine in high range, automatically downshifting as needed, keeping the engine at a higher RPM for more power when needed.
Cab Features
The SVL97-3 features a new single-piece sealed cab for a quiet and clean work environment. Comfort features include a heated air-ride seat and HVAC configuration options. Kubota Shockless Ride is standard on closed cab models to buffer the loader arms over uneven terrain to keep material in the bucket.
Operators control functions on the 7-inch LCD touchscreen, which also includes a passcode-based keyless start and rearview camera functions. Backlit switches are included for low-light conditions, and delayed shut-down exterior LED lights provide illumination after the loader is powered down.
Serviceability Feature
The SVL97-3 track loaders come standard with KubotaNow Telematics and a swing-out radiator for serviceability. The radiator swings out 90 degrees to open the engine compartment for full access to the battery, filters, and engine for routine maintenance. The single-piece cab can be tilted up and out of the way for access to hydraulic pumps, lines, and tank. Additional cleanout panels have also been added to help remove dirt and debris from the worksite as it builds up on the loader.
Availability
The Kubota SVL97-3 compact track loaders will be available at Kubota dealerships starting this spring. Prices start at $87,418 depending on configuration. For more information, visit kubotausa.com.
