Kioti Announces Industry-First Sub-Compact Tractor with a Cab

Kioti has launched the CS30 Series sub-compact tractor — the first of its size with a factory-installed climate-controlled cab.

“We’ve been working to be the first in the market to offer a four season, climate-controlled factory cab on a subcompact tractor,” said Joel Hicks, product line manager for tractors at Kioti. “Not only does it fit well in southern states where it typically gets a lot hotter, but also in the northern states and Canada where it gets colder. It can go anywhere and still be comfortable to operate.”

Kioti has designed this tractor to work in disparate climates for acreage owners, and work in livestock barns where operators need to get in and out of tight spaces. Hicks said this is ideal for snow removal; at 82 inches tall it’s capable of fitting in a standard garage to stay out of the elements. Self-defrosting windows quickly get the tractor ready for work.

The CS30 Series has a climate-controlled cab with heating and air conditioning, and premium seating for comfort on long work days. The tractor features an improved lever layout for more intuitive operation, and two hydrostatic pedals for forward and reverse movements. Push-button four-wheel drive, power steering, and tilt steering wheel are also included for ease of operation.

An optional AV system is available with smartphone mirroring, Bluetooth connectivity, and a rear-view camera.

The CS2530C features a 1.2 liter Kioti diesel engine with up to 24.5 hp, and torque at 51.63 pounds per foot. Kioti’s other sub-compact tractors use a 1 liter engine. The new 1.2 liter provides a roughly 15–20% increase in torque, and increases the fuel economy, according to Hicks.

The tractor can drive up to 9 mph forward, and reverse at 6.15 mph. This model uses an open center hydraulics system with a 7 gallons per minute capacity, and up to 700 pounds of lift capacity. The standard mid PTO at 2,200 rpm allows operators to use implements like a mid-mount mower.

“The CS30 Series can be loader, mid mount mower, and backhoe — compatible all at the same time — just like all of our other subcompact products,” Hicks said.

A mechanical self-leveling loader is available for the CS30 Series, intended for ease of use, especially for first-time buyers. An optional quick-connect systems simplifies attaching and detaching implements.

Price and Availability

The Kioti CS2530C sub-compact tractor starts at $24,976, and has started shipping in limited numbers with wider availability coming soon. For more information, visit kioti.com.
