The National FFA Organization recently appointed three new leaders to its National FFA Board of Directors. The association says that their expertise, passion for agricultural education, and commitment to youth development will enhance the organization’s mission of preparing the next generation of leaders in agriculture and beyond.
The new board members are:

- CaSandra Carter, a senior human resources generalist at Syngenta, will represent business and industry on the board from 2025 to 2027.
- Jennifer Jackson, the executive director of Texas FFA and the Texas state advisor, will represent the National Association of Supervisors in Agricultural Education in the western region from 2025 to 2027.
- Paul Aarsvold, agriculture education instructor from Plainview-Elgin-Millville High School, will represent the agriculture, food, and natural resources teachers for the National Association of Agricultural Educators and will serve from 2025-2027.
“We are excited to have these individuals serve on the board,” said National FFA Advisor and Board Chair Dr. Travis Park. “Each of these individuals brings a unique perspective from their areas of work, whether it be industry or the classroom. We look forward to their future contributions to guiding the National FFA Organization and helping FFA members prepare for a lifetime of career success.”
The National FFA Organization is led by the direction and policy set by the National FFA Board of Directors. The board consists of the national FFA advisor, executive secretary, treasurer, four state supervisors of agricultural education, one United States Department of Education representative, two agricultural education teacher educators, two agricultural education teachers, one National Council for Agricultural Education representative, and one agricultural business and industry representative.
The terms of office of members of the National FFA Board of Directors and the method of selection of such members, other than the ex-officio members, are prescribed in the bylaws. The board meets at least once each year at such time and place as may be prescribed by the board and shall present an annual report.
