December corn ended the day down less than a penny at $4.21½ per bushel.
November soybeans closed down 3¼¢ at $10.10½ per bushel.
December CBOT wheat closed down less than a penny at $5.19½ per bushel. December KC wheat was up 2¾¢ at $5.08¼ per bushel. December Minneapolis wheat was up 1½¢ at $5.69¼.
December live cattle ended the day down 48¢ at $233.83 per hundredweight (cwt). November feeder cattle closed down 60¢ at $353.88 per cwt. December lean hogs were down 70¢ at $90.35 per cwt.
Ahead of 2:30 p.m. CT, November crude oil was down $2.53 at $63.19 per barrel.
The S&P 500 Index was up 5.44 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 17 points.

December CBOT wheat was down less than a penny at $5.19½ per bushel. December KC wheat was up 1½¢ at $5.07 per bushel. December Minneapolis wheat was up a penny at $5.68¾.
“Corn and soybean futures drifted lower under U.S. harvest pressure in early trade with crude oil price weakness also a negative factor,” said The Brock Report of the overnight session. “Soybean futures also continued to feel pressure from China’s absence from the U.S. market.”
As of 8:45 a.m. CT, November crude oil was down $1.88 at $63.84 per barrel.
This morning, USDA announced new export sales:
- Mexico is buying 135,660 metric tons of corn for the 2025/2026 marketing year.
- Unknown destinations are buying 110,668 metric tons of corn for the 2025/2026 marketing year.
As of 8:46 a.m. CT, December live cattle were down 60¢ at $233.70 per hundredweight (cwt). November feeder cattle were up 43¢ at $354.90 per cwt. December lean hogs were down 25¢ at $90.80 per cwt.
The U.S. Dollar Index December contract was down to 97.46.
