November soybeans were up 1¾¢ at $9.91 per bushel.
September CBOT wheat was up 4¼¢ at $5.21 per bushel. September KC wheat was up 3¼¢ at $5.22 per bushel. September Minneapolis wheat was down less than a penny at $5.71¾.
This morning, Naomi Blohm, senior market advisor at Total Farm Marketing, said, “A neutral weather pattern over the next 15 days will support U.S. corn and soybean development, which will likely keep the market from rallying.”
As of 8:48 a.m. CT, October live cattle were up $1.73 at $225.40 per hundredweight (cwt). September feeder cattle were up $2.53 at $336.45 per cwt. October lean hogs were up 55¢ at $90.60 per cwt.
September crude oil was down $1.75 at $65.58 per barrel.
The U.S. Dollar Index September contract was down to 98.47.
As of 8:44 a.m. CT, the S&P 500 Index was up 59.66 points, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 315.48 points.
