Budweiser’s iconic Clydesdales are back — and this time, the smallest member of the herd is making a big impression.
The beer brand has released two teasers ahead of its Super Bowl LX commercial, offering fans an early look at what’s coming in Budweiser’s 48th Super Bowl appearance featuring the famous horses. The teasers, titled “Stable” and “Foal,” spotlight both the legacy and future of one of agriculture’s most recognizable animal ambassadors.
The first teaser, Stable, opens inside a barn where five full-grown Clydesdales stand alert, their attention fixed on a mysterious bucket rattling across the floor. Whatever is hiding underneath remains unseen as the clip ends with the words, “Heads Will Turn,” hinting that a new character is about to join the Budweiser lineup.
That mystery is answered in the second teaser.
In Foal, Budweiser introduces a young Clydesdale, one of the smallest horses ever featured in the brand’s Super Bowl advertising. The short clip follows the foal as it navigates the barn on long, unsteady legs before stepping outside and breaking into a confident gallop across open pasture.
According to Budweiser, the Clydesdales first appeared in a Super Bowl commercial in 1975. Today, the brand maintains three traveling teams of horses that spend nearly 300 days a year on the road, appearing at parades, sporting events, fairs, and agricultural showcases across the United States.
In order to join the World-Famous Budweiser hitch, a Clydesdale must meet certain requirements. They must stand at least 18 hands high (or 6 feet tall). They must be geldings and at least 4 years old. They must have a bay coat, four white stockings, a blaze of white on the face, a black mane, and a black tail. And they must weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds.
Fans can view both teasers on Budweiser’s social media channels as fans await the full Super Bowl ad, which will air February 8, 2026, during Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
