618-Acre Teton Ridge TR9 Ranch Sells for $45 Million in Texas

A marquee Western performance property in Weatherford, Texas, has officially changed hands.

Icon Global says it has “marketed, sold and closed” the former Teton Ridge TR9 Ranch and Western equestrian sports training complex, a 618-acre professional horseman’s training and breeding facility for $45 million. The property was originally listed in Icon Global’s promotional materials for $33 million.

Icon Global owner Bernard Uechtritz framed the transaction as a standout sale in a short window.

“Icon is pleased to have represented Teton Ridge TR9 stakeholders in this unique, fast-paced, record-setting asset sale,” he said in a statement.

The buyers are Jason and Kisha Itkin, acquiring the ranch through Theorem Ranch, a 20,000-acre luxury horse and cattle ranch that includes fly fishing, Western culture, indulgent food, wine, and lodging. Uechtritz also highlighted the location of the Teton Ridge TR9 in one of the country’s most recognizable Western hubs.

“We are additionally, absolutely thrilled to congratulate and welcome both Jason and Kisha Itkin to the arenas of Weatherford and Fort Worth, the Western sports capitals of America. Icon Global joins Theorem and Teton Ridge in continued unified support and furtherance of all Western sports and equestrianism via sponsorships and special events,” Icon said.

‘The possibilities are endless’

The Itkins say the ranch will be central to their vision for building Western performance sports, and expanding access for both longtime participants and newcomers.

“We are committed to maximizing this ranch’s potential,” Theorem’s Kisha Itkin said. “We believe this ranch will be a key component of our plan to help grow Western performance sports. The elite facilities will provide unique opportunities for horses, trainers, riders, and fans. The possibilities are endless.”

Jason Itkin pointed to history and heritage as part of the larger plan.

“For generations, cattle drives between the two states shaped ranching traditions, horsemanship skills and the shared values that defined the American West,” Jason Itkin stated. “By linking these two properties, we plan to celebrate that legacy while helping increase the nation’s appreciation for Western culture.”

Icon Global says the property went to market in September 2025 and closed January 8, 2026, putting the turnaround at roughly 90 days. Icon associate broker Don Bell led the sale.

The ranch was previously part of Teton Ridge’s footprint. Teton Ridge, owned by TWG Global, is described as being “dedicated to expanding the reach and impact of Western sports and culture.”

The sale lands amid major recent movement around the broader Teton Ridge brand and its Western portfolio. In fall 2025, Western Bloodstock’s dispersal of Teton Ridge Performance Horses generated $28 million and closed the planned end of its breeding and sales program, with Western Bloodstock’s Jeremy Barwick calling it a rare chance for buyers.

“Teton Ridge brought together some of the finest minds, horses, and pedigrees in the business,” Barwick said. “This is a very rare opportunity, the kind that comes once in a lifetime, to access horses that were never intended to be for sale. It’s going to change breeding programs and show barns overnight. This sale puts the best of every arena within reach.”

As owners of the $23.2 million sire Stevie Rey Von, the Itkins believe the ranch will create exciting opportunities for longtime Western performance enthusiasts — and for new audiences who will fall in love with the sport through experience.
