Many stayed until the final session on Saturday to cheer on the long-awaited National Officer announcement.

To apply to national office, candidates must be active FFA members, hold the American FFA Degree at the time of election, and retain active membership throughout their term of office. From there, candidates submitted an extensive application detailing their FFA experiences, leadership philosophy, and why they’re suited for the role.
At the National FFA Convention, they faced multiple rounds of intense interviews with the Nominating Committee, made up of college-aged FFA members from across the country. The committee identified six individuals who exemplify leadership, vision, and an unwavering commitment to FFA’s mission.
This year, 37 candidates representing their respective state associations competed for the honor of national office. The energy in the arena during the final announcement — and the outpouring of celebration from members in attendance and watching online — captured the excitement and unity that define the FFA experience.
Throughout the coming year, the new National Officer Team will travel the country to connect with members, lead leadership workshops, and represent FFA at agricultural, educational, and government events. They will also work closely with the National FFA Board of Directors and staff to guide programs that promote agricultural education, leadership development, and career success.
Over the past few days, outgoing officers gave their retiring addresses. Now, these six leaders will serve as the faces of FFA, inspiring members to live out the organization’s values of dedication, integrity, and service.
