The 2023 Grassmanship Scholarship Program is planning to award one $5,000 scholarship and four $1,000 scholarships to current and incoming college students pursuing a degree in agriculture. The application period is open through March 31, and winners will be notified by May 2.
The scholarship is put on by Nufarm Range and Pasture Solutions, a crop protection company that aims to protect and improve range and pasture quality from the threat of land diminishment and negative livestock impacts caused by invasive weeds. This stewardship approach, in combination with other land management practices, is part of what Nufarm calls Grassmanship.
Nufarm’s scholarship program emphasizes that Grassmanship means working together to do all we can to be excellent stewards of the land.
