Chicken country love ballad ad wins international award

Chino Valley Ranchers, a California-based egg company was awarded the 2023 MUSE Platinum Creative Award, Season 1 — the second time the company has taken honors for its humorous approach to advertising eggs.
And it’s no wonder, the ad titled, Chicken Scratch, answers the age-old question, “Why did the chicken cross the road?” The lovelorn farmer, performed by Nathan Kenyon, sings about being jilted by his favorite chicken who flew the coop for Chino Valley in a string of puns (written by Kenyon) delivered in a country heartbreak style.
The catchy ditty has received the honors amid over 6,300 other entries to the MUSE Awards, which are hosted by the International Awards Associate and honor excellence in advertising.
