Polaris is expanding its lineup of off-road ATVs and UTVs with updated models designed for trail riders, ranchers, and property owners.

These updates include a variety of updated Ranger UTV models, and Sportsman ATV models, coming designed with enhanced performance and durability features across the board.

“We are constantly learning from the unique ways customers use our products,” says Steve Menneto, president of Polaris. “From mudding to property maintenance, these vehicles are purpose-built with enhanced features that enable our customers to make the most of their day, and we’re excited to bring them back for 2023.”

Ranger UTVs

Three updated vehicles are coming to the Ranger UTV line for model year 2023.

Texas Edition

The Ranger Crew XP 1000 Texas Edition can carry up to six passengers, and is built for towing and hauling. The UTV runs on a 82 hp. 4-stroke twin cylinder, dual overhead camshaft (DOHC) engine. It’s capable of towing up to 2,500 pounds, and can hold up to 1,000 pounds in the bed. It also comes with a factory-installed 4,500 pound winch, with synthetic rope and autostop.

The UTV has 14 inches of clearance thanks to arched A-arms and 8-ply 29-inch Pro Armor tires. Sealed suspension keeps mud and water out. For working at night, the UTV has high-intensity, dual LED headlights. Inside the cab, the seats are contoured with back bolsters for comfort. USB charging ports are new to the model.

The Texas edition comes with unique Texas-themed styling and badging elements.

NorthStar Edition

The Ranger SP 570 NorthStar and Ranger Crew SP 570 Northstar have a fully enclosed cab and factory-installed heating and cooling, designed for use throughout the seasons. The Ranger SP runs on a 44 hp. 4-stroke single cylinder DOHC engine. The UTV can tow up to 1,500 pounds, and the bed has a capacity of up to 500 pounds. It’s factory-installed with a Polaris Pro HD 3,500 pound winch with synthetic rope and autostop.

This model has 10.5 inches of ground clearance, and drives on Carlisle Terra Cross tires. New mud guards are installed to help prevent debris collection under the cab. Like the Texas edition, this model has newly added LED headlights for driving under low-light conditions, and new USB ports in the dashboard.

Sportsman ATVs

Polaris has unveiled a wide range of updated models for the Sportsman ATV line. The Sportsman 570 Utility HD model is built for working in the field, with a utility front bumper, hitch, and front and rear metal racks. This model has a 44 hp. ProStar 4-stroke DOHC single cylinder engine. The Utility HD can tow up to 1,350 pounds, and has a total combined rack capacity of up to 270 pounds.

The Sportsman ATV has ground clearance of 11.5 inches. The front hitch is designed for parking a trailer in a tight spot, and the utility bumper adds extra protection to the ATV. A rear power port plug enables riders to integrate equipment like utility sprayers and grass mowers to their ATV.

This model is intended for work, with an easy effort throttle, multiple drive modes, geofencing, and a speed limiter.

Price and availability

The new Polaris UTV and ATV models are available to order now. The 2023 Ranger Crew XP 1000 Texas Edition UTV starts at $24,299. The 2023 Ranger SP 570 Northstar edition starts at $19,299 and the Crew version starts at $21,999.
