KIOTI Tractor has formally made available its next-generation RX40 Series utility tractor, building on the legacy of the RX20 line. The machine was first showcased in February at the National Farm Machinery Show, with a preview given to AGDAILY reporters.

The RX40 Series offers a powerful combination of performance, comfort, and value, making it a versatile solution for various agricultural tasks. Significant upgrades in this new series enhance the operator experience both in the field and during long hours of work.

Joel Hicks, KIOTI’s associate product line manager for tractors, highlighted the advancements, stating that the RX40 Series redefines what a utility tractor can offer by integrating advanced features with the rugged reliability that KIOTI is known for. Hicks emphasized that the RX40 is more than just an upgrade; it represents an investment in productivity, comfort, and the long-term success of farms.

He told AGDAILY early this year that the RX40 is the kind of machine that will fit in well with a variety of producers — including livestock and hay farmers — because it’s small enough to be mobile but big enough to carry its weight on larger operations.

One of the standout features of the RX40 Series is its spacious five-pillar cab, which is designed with operator comfort and convenience in mind. The cab offers excellent visibility, generous head- and legroom, and a deluxe air-ride suspension seat to reduce fatigue during extended use. Climate control ensures year-round comfort, while an optional instructor seat facilitates training.

The RX40 Series also includes an electronic 3-point hitch for easy implement control, power steering, a tilt steering wheel, and an LED instrument panel with ergonomically placed controls. The hydraulic independent PTO ensures smooth operation, while projection headlamps and work lamps increase visibility and safety during nighttime work. Additionally, the streamlined hood design improves forward sightlines for better ground visibility and easier maintenance access.

The new series has more curvature in the loader, which sits a bit lower and further improves visibility for the operator. The loader also has a few new features, including a soft ride kit that can be selected straight from the cab — so the loader can move independently and doesn’t create as much shock load. Operators also have the option to more easily add a third function because the joystick in the cab is already prewired for it.

When it comes to power and performance, the RX40 Series excels in tasks such as hauling hay, livestock management, material handling, and landscaping. The series is powered by KIOTI’s fuel-efficient, inline, water-cooled, four-cylinder turbocharged CRDI diesel engine, offering strong power and torque with a 26-gallon fuel capacity. Available in five models ranging from 66 to 73 horsepower, the RX40 Series offers both ROPS and cab configurations. It also features a top-of-class three-point lift capacity of up to 4,327 pounds.

The RX40 Series ensures superior traction with its 4WD and differential lock, while the power shuttle lever allows for quick direction changes. With speeds up to 24 mph, a 540/540E PTO, the RX40 is equipped to handle a wide range of tasks efficiently.

KIOTI’s commitment to quality is evident in the RX40 Series, with the company manufacturing nearly every major component in-house, ensuring consistent performance and reliability. The RX40 Series sets a new standard in utility tractors, offering ultimate comfort, reliability, and value for tackling the most demanding jobs.

The RX40 models are now available at KIOTI dealerships across the United States and Canada. KIOTI Tractor is a division of Daedong-USA Inc.
