John Deere’s new Pro Service for Operations Center is designed to enhance machinery owners’ ability to maintain, diagnose, and repair their Deere equipment. The new service is available through an annual license, starting at $195 per machine.
The service adds to the range of tools available through the Operations Center. The new Pro Service replaces Deere’s Customer Service Advisor tool that launched in May 2022.
“The launch of Operations Center Pro Service is a significant milestone that adds to John Deere’s existing tools, and it reaffirms our longstanding commitment to empowering customers to choose how they repair their equipment,” said Denver Caldwell, vice president of aftermarket and customer support for John Deere. “Importantly, our development of these tools reaffirms John Deere’s support of customer self-repair. We view continuously enhancing self-repair as consistent with our mission to ensure John Deere customers have the best machine ownership experience possible.”
What’s New?
Pro Service builds off Deere’s service tools currently available through the Operations Center, including operator manuals, active and store diagnostic trouble codes, software updates, JDLink information, and warranty information.
New features include:
- machine health insights and diagnostic trouble codes
- PIN-specific machine content, including manuals
- software reprogramming for John Deere controllers
- diagnostic readings and recordings
- interactive diagnostic tests
- calibrations.
Customers can perform these tasks themselves or with a trusted local service technician.
Pro Service is available through John Deere’s Operations Center platform. Farmers connect their machinery to the platform via serial number, but more advanced service, such as software reprogramming, requires an electronic data link.
