On October 24, 2024, Kudzukian Media Group will launch the Grow Tennessee Network, a video streaming platform focused on the various perspectives within the regional agriculture industry in Tennessee via its suite of shows.

The Grow Tennessee channel will launch with All in the Farmily, hosted by Bobby and Derravia Rich, the husband-and-wife team who own and operate Black Seeds Urban Farm. The pair talks to Black growers, producers, and farmers across the region about their challenges, triumphs, and reasons for venturing into farming and agriculture.

All in the Farmily is not only a vehicle to create awareness around Black farmers but also to destigmatize farming in the Black community.

“Black people have collectively and intentionally moved away from farming over the past several decades,” Bobby Rich said. “Here, we see the growing movement to bring our people back to the land that formed us, pushing past stereotypes and stigma.”

Making It In Memphis will launch on November 26, hosted by John Butler, CEO of Agricenter International. It will focus on attracting corporate agriculture businesses to Memphis. Hear from well-respected, widely known companies that are headquartered in the city, like BASF, Burlison Gin Co, and Helena AG.

“The Mid-South is an incredible agricultural region. To highlight this fact, we have placed a spotlight on our unique strengths,” Butler said. “It all starts with our amazing national resources. Making It In Memphis also showcases all the Ag & Food companies that call this region home and how our community continues to lead in many areas while welcoming new innovative solutions that prepare us for the future.”

Everybody Eats will launch in January 2025, hosted by food scientist Jade Clark and will do a deep dive into the farm-to-table production process in our region.

This is the show for anyone with more than a passing curiosity about where their food comes from — the people who are a step beyond simply being a foodie. Clark will follow the path from production to your plate and vice versa as she speaks with local restaurateurs, farmer’s markets, meat markets, farms, and production facilities.

Growing the Next Gen is a dynamic show hosted by three sharp, young, rising stars: Micah Anderson, London Christian, and Baker Bogard. Together, they spotlight the innovative contributions of today’s youth in the agricultural revolution. The trio dive into current farming practices, examining them through the fresh perspective of the next generation while exploring how young leaders are shaping the future of farming and sustainability.

Each of the shows can be accessed via the Grow TN app or the website. They will also be available through OTT applications like Roku, Apple TV, Samsung TV, Fire TV and others.
