Stine Seed and Pattern Ag announced a strategic partnership to introduce an innovative solution for corn rootworm threats. The Stine Prescriptive Pathogen Report will leverage Pattern Ag’s testing capabilities for a reliable prediction of rootworm field pressure and economic risks.

Through measuring DNA in the soil, the test can detect the presence and abundance of corn rootworm organisms with 90% accuracy.

“In the world of agriculture, knowledge is power,” said Myron Stine, president of Stine Seed, in a news release. “Our collaboration with Pattern Ag and the introduction of the Prescriptive Pathogen Report will empower our customers with the knowledge they need to make smarter, more informed decisions about their crops, ensuring they have the tools to protect their yields and grow with confidence.”

Stine Seed will offer the Prescriptive Pathogen Report to Corn Loyalty level customers at a special discounted price. The partnership will allow Stine Seed to have more insightful conversations about crop protection, resulting in better management for yield and quality.

“Our collaboration with Stine Seed is a game-changing moment for agriculture,” said Mike Tweedy, vice president of sales for Pattern Ag, in a news release. “By combining Stine’s renowned expertise in seeds with Pattern Ag’s cutting-edge analytics, we are ushering in a new era of data-driven, prescriptive farming. This partnership will empower farmers to make smarter, more strategic decisions, ultimately increasing their yields and profitability and elevating the entire industry.”
