The National FFA Organization invites you to show your support for the organization on Feb. 20 with a donation to further the experiences of its members.

“Give FFA Day is an opportunity for each FFA supporter to magnify their impact on the lives of more than a million FFA members when they join other donors across the country,” said Kimberly Coveney, senior manager of individual giving for the National FFA Foundation. “We know that every gift makes a difference, and we are grateful for our donors and their continued support and belief in our members, FFA, and agricultural education.”

This year marks the 78th year of National FFA Week (Feb. 16 to 23), and the 10th year Give FFA Day has been a part of the celebration. In 2020, the organization had more donors than in the first five years combined.

“We concentrate more on donor participation than on a monetary goal,” says Coveney. “We want everyone to know that their gift matters, so we have a goal of reaching 1,500 donors.”

FFA has already received donation matches from RFD-TV for $100,000 and from John Deere for $50,000. The goal for the day is to raise $1.5 million, with the hope of exceeding last year’s efforts, when supporters donated more than $1.44 million.

Supporters can designate donations to any of the 52 state FFA organizations, including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and donations may be used to send members to state conventions, to the Washington Leadership Conference, or toward college scholarships for those members pursuing a degree in an ag-related field.

“It is because of your generosity that we are able to embrace all that FFA has to offer. Our students benefit greatly from your contributions as they are given access to conferences, hands-on learning, and career opportunities that equip them with skills that extend beyond high school education,” said Makena Stanisai, a 2023-24 California FFA officer.
